Whether bought by women who couldn't care less about cars or bought by entry-level insurance agents, the Opel Corsa C was and is a cheap car to buy but not necessarily cheap to keep running. During regular inspections from 2012 to 2022 in average failures were found for approximately 14.3 percents of Opel Corsa. The Corsa is a competent small car, but isn't outstanding in any area. It's not as comfortable or as pleasant inside as the closely related Peugeot 208, not as fun to drive as a Seat Ibiza, nor Good: very economical, spacious, refined. Not so good: quite expensive. Ireland may be diesel mad, but petrol still (rightly) rules the roost in the small car segment. Most small cars are used by low mileage drivers in a mostly urban environment, where petrol power makes far more sense. The ADAC breakdown statistics determine which Opel models are the most reliable and which have broken down most - a good help when buying a used Opel Corsa. In the statistics for 2021, all the breakdowns for which the German Yellow Angels had to move out in 2020 were recorded and evaluated. Rarpw.
